How Much Toilet Paper Do You Need?

In these troubling times you need hard data to make decisions. Don’t fail to prepare for the pandemic of 2020.

The average person uses 100 rolls of toilet paper per year (over 20,000 sheets).
The average American adult eats 1,996 pounds of food per year.

A family of four will need on average 8 rolls per week.

How I got there:
100 rolls divided by 12 months is 8.3 per month. 2 rolls per week.

If you eat 42 pounds of food you will need 2 rolls of toilet paper.

How I got there:
1,996 pounds divided by 12 months is 166 pounds per month. 42 pounds per week.
